George was born on 18 July 1903. He was the son of Ronald Earl Lauffer and Bessie Christina Eamigh. He married Ethel Viola Lewis on 12 June 1924. George died on 13 January 1981 at Morrow Memorial Hospital at age 77. His body was interred on 15 January 1981 at Manor Church Cemetery.
