     Harry S. Fleck was born circa 1861; Age 19 in the 1880 Census. He was the son of Gabriel Fleck and Rebecca Stoner.¹ Harry S. Fleck was mlt active duty in 1880; Enlisted as a private in the Sheridan Troop (PA National Guard), then corporal, then sergeant and in November 1894 was elected 2nd Lieutenant. During the Spanish-American War, he ranked as 1st Lieutenant and was detailed as quartermaster of the squadron that was made up of all the PA cavalry.¹ He appeared on the census of 1880 at Tyrone, Blair, PA, USA.² He was Taught for 9 consecutive years in 1882 at Sinking Valley, PA, USA.¹ He was Taught and later became principal of the High School (for 10 years). In 1891 at Tyrone, PA, USA.¹ He married Katherine Wertz, daughter of John W. Wertz and Edith Wright, on 30 June 1897.¹ Harry S. Fleck was Superintendent of public schools in 1908.¹ He was principal at M.A. from Susquehanna University on 19 May 1909 when an unknown person was a student. School: (an unknown value).¹
