     Philip was born at Lancaster County, PA, on 20 October 1772. He was the son of William Pringle Sr. and Mary Wertz. He married Mary Cable at Frankstown, Huntingdon County, PA, on 7 October 1794. Philip Pringle died on 18 November 1841 at Wilmore, Cambria County, PA, at age 69. He was buried after 18 November 1841 at Pringle Hill Cemetery, Summerhill Twp, Cambria County, PA, USA; Headstone transcription @:
