Relationship=3rd great-grandfather of Lawrence (Larry) Eugene Eamigh.

     His body was interred at Saint Louis Mission Cemetery. Luc was born on 7 March 1807. He was the son of Louison Gagnon and Babette Caron. He married Julie Gregoire on 2 August 1841. Luc died on 27 August 1872 at St. Paul, Oregon, at age 65.1

    Gagnon, Luc 1807 - 1872
    "Natives of Canada Requiescat in Pace" So read the stones of Luc Gagnon and his wife, Julie Gregoire, in the rear part of St. Louis Cemetery. Their children, in addition to Emerence (Hubert Petit) and Marguerite (Antoine Moray) noted in their marriage recorded at St. Paul, included Helene Emelie (Louis Lemery), Antoine, Ann (Pierre Belque, Jr.), Marie Olive and Sophie who died as an infant. The Gagnon claim was near St. Louis to the north. Gagnon was a name well-known in the fur trade, appearing in numerous situations.
