Mrs. Annie Troxell
PORTAGE, Feb. 23. - Mrs. Annie Troxell, aged 67 years, died of diabetes at 2:40 o'clock yesterday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Helsel. The deceased was married twice, her first husband, Alfred Eamigh, passing away 33 yeas ago. Her second husband, John A. Troxell, died some years ago.
Mrs. Troxell is survived by four children. Mrs. John Helsel and Solomon and Martin Eamigh, all of Portage, and John Eamigh, of Lilly. The following brothers and sisters also survive: Mrs. David Diehl, of Lilly; Martin Miller, of Conemaugh; and John, Luther and Mary Miller, all of Lilly. She also is survived by 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon in the Evangelical Church, conducted by the Rev. F. W. Bartlett, pastor. Interment will be in the Mt. Union Cemetery. Undertaker H. F. Buck has prepared the body for burial.

[S143] OBITUARY - ARIZONA REPUBLIC, DECEMBER 6, 2005 Lauffer, Charles Clifford Charles Clifford Lauffer, 82, of Glendale, AZ went to be with the Lord on December 3, 2005. He was born April 24, 1923 in Portage, Pennsylvania. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Lois, son, Charles (Linda) of Axton, Virginia, Barbara (Murray) of St. Albans, Maine, Rebecca (Philip) of Glendale, Arizona and Melissa of Lexington Park, Maryland. There were 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 3 sisters. He married his wife Lois in 1942 in Pennsylvania. He served in the U.S. Army Field Artillery Battalion in World War II from 24 March 1943 until 11 December 1945. Then he joined the National Guard and his unit was called up for the Korean War from 1 February 1951 until 21 October 1951. He was a decorated War Veteran. His many medals include a Purple Heart. After serving our country, Chuck and Lois moved their family to Virginia. There Chuck got a job with the government as a meat cutter and retired from there as a supervisor of the meat department in 1987. They moved to Glendale in 1999. Chuck, as he was known to everyone, loved fishing, playing pool and gardening with a great passion for woodworking. He was a loving caring father and husband and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 7, 2005 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary, 7924 N. 59th Avenue. The funeral will be Thursday, December 8 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at the Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary. Interment immediately follows at Resthaven Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Heart Association. Published in The Arizona Republic on 12/6/2005.
